Field Trips

Our mission is to educate visitors about railroad history and its impact on Eastern Hillsborough County and Plant City, FL.

Group size:

10-25 students larger groups maybe split.

Admission:

Free for Everyone. Donations Welcome.

​

Chaperones:

1 adult per 10 students required; K-2nd grade, per 5 recommended. Adults must stay with groups and help with safety,  behavior, and transitions.

Accessibility
ADA accessible with ramps, wide walkways, mobility-device friendly exhibits, and transitions.
Lunch
Groups may use the Train Viewing Platform, nearby McCall Park , or the grass area in front of the equipment. 
Bus Parking
Use the North lot beside the museum or the south viewing platform lot.
Museum Rules
Stay with your group. No  running, climbing, food/drinks inside, or touching artifacts without permission. Be respectful near the active rail line. Photography welcome.
